Christian Horner has hailed the Red Bull Ford power unit as the best on the grid, and pointed to how far the project came. "When you see that engine now, five years ago the factory where it was ultimately built was still producing bubble wrap," Horner said. "That makes it an incredible achievement that this engine, from a brand new project, is already being rated as the best on the grid. To have an engine still ahead of Ferrari, Honda, Audi and even Mercedes, nobody thought that would be possible."
